About Making Cards…
I love to work with people who are just learning the art of homemade card making.
Beginning card makers don’t know where to start. The kits give new crafters a road map to follow with all of the items they need to create beautiful cards. It’s a great way to introduce you to a new hobby without getting frustrated trying to figure things out on your own.
Kits are also great for people who are limited in time or space. Everything is included in the kit box, so no extra items need to be purchased.
Whether it’s making a kit card or designing a brand new card, I enjoy the process. I can design a card from scratch as well as reverse engineer a card found online. I have a passion for making cards and sharing the finished card with others.
I started my business initially to get the discount on the Stampin’ Up! products I was buying. I’ve turned this passion into a real business because I want to make an impact in the world by helping others send cards to uplift the spirit of their family and friends.
When I first started out, I struggled with finding designs. I didn’t have the time to reverse engineer a card I saw online. When I did figure out a design, I’d find I didn’t have all the ingredients I needed to make a card but realized it only once I had started the project, so I had to stop. I know what it’s like to start something new and feeling lost.
I have been making cards for over a decade now. I’ve attended numerous card making workshops plus a Stampin’ Up! Annual conference in Utah. I would love to teach you the skills I’ve learned to make your card making journey easy and enjoyable.
About ME…
I’m a kind person who is supportive of anyone learning something new. I love helping people.
Since I was a child through my adulthood, I’ve belonged to many non-profit organization that provide service to others. I started as a Brownie in Girl Scouts, went on to 4-H, joined the International Order of the Rainbow for Girls in high school, Kiwanians, Junior women’s club (part of Federated Women) and Toastmasters. In the years when I wasn’t active with one of these organizations, I felt like a piece of me was missing. I was put on this earth to give service to others.
When I’m not making cards and working in my other business, I love to go hiking – especially in Yosemite. My two favorite hiking buddies are my granddaughters. We enjoy hiking and camping together multiple times a year.
